Welcome to the ESNR Spine Full Hands On Course “Middle East” 2023 – Doha, Qatar

My dear Friends,

We’re back again ready for the new ESNR Spine Full Hands-On Course “Middle East” 2023, back again in Doha, Qatar.

Last year, as Chair for Spine of the European Society of Neuroradiology, I have the pleasure and honor to organize the first meeting in Qatar, at the prestigious Hamad Medical Corporation Center: this was un unbelievable great success in term of participation, positive feedback from the audience, support from local Companies.

And, above all, we had the privilege to experience the unforgettable hospitality of prof. Own, the Head of all Neurosciences department at HMC, and dr. Hosam Alqatami, precious part of my Spine Clinical Committee at the ESNR for the last 6 years.

As for all the Hands-On I created, the formula will be to have not a a “conference” nor a “course” in the conventional way, but having a real practical Hands-On course, that allow all the participants to spend 2 full days practicing all the most important US-guided, Xray and CT guided spine treatments in the world of Spine Interventional Neuroradiology.

And, what’s more important, all of the participants will share their idea and have the opportunity to talk friendly for 2 days with worldwide well-known International Tutors, in a totally informal atmosphere.

As for the last year, I insisted for having a limited number of participants: this is the only way to satisfy people who come and want to do personally procedures, not waiting in the 5th row of an overcrowd room. That’s why we accept a relatively small number of Attendees only.

The ESNR Spine Full Hands On “Middle East” 2023 -see the Program on our ESNR website- will start in December the 1stth and continues on the 2nd of December with identical formula: a short morning session of quick lectures done by International Tutors concerning the mail treatments in Spine interventional Neuroradiology, followed by the practical activity in simultaneous rooms at the HMC department of Neuroradiology! All the Attendees will be subdivided in 3 groups, performing X-ray- and CT-guided procedures from injections to discectomy, from biopsy to radioablation, from basic vertebroplasty to more advanced techniques of augmentation and spacers, performing all practical on dedicated Anthropomorphic Spine phantoms.

So, looking forward to seeing you soon back again in the magic atmosphere of Qatar 2023.

I’m sure it will be another ESNR successful Spine meeting and the opportunity to meet new friends in the world of Spine Interventional Neuroradiology.
