Although the official language spoken in Rome is Italian, travelers will find that many locals speak English, especially those who work in restaurants, hotels and other places associated with tourism


Throughout the year with average high temperatures of 12°C (53°F) and average lows of 4°C (39°F) during the coldest months (January and February) and average high of 31°C (88°F) and average lows of 20°C (68°F) during the hottest summer months (July and August).

The majority of the plugs in Italy are "Type L" (Italian socket type) with three prongs. However, it is also possible to find the "Type C" (Europlug), both with a voltage of 220V.
