Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you to the third edition of the Advanced 3rd Level course on Glioma Imaging, organized by the ESNR Subspecialty Committee on Diagnostic Neuroradiology.

This course will address diagnostic gliomas, molecular classification, pre and intraoperative planning as well as follow up in terms of clinical management and clinical trials. Molecular biology has dramatically changed the classification of gliomas in recent years and MR with its advanced powerful techniques participate and contribute to the improvement of medical and surgical management.

The program of this third edition continues the same pattern as in previous editions, starting in the morning of Wednesday November 16th and ending in the afternoon of Friday 18th. Morning lectures will be dedicated to the exciting developments in techniques including DWI, perfusion and spectroscopy. Afternoon workshops will allow time for discussion, interactive clinical case sessions and hands-on access to the main systems commercially available for data post-processing using workstations.

The course will be held at the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM). COAM is a new and innovative space located in the center of Madrid with rooms and technical possibilities that make this building an ideal place to host this course. Madrid is a beguiling place with an energy that carries one simple message: this city really knows how to live. It is a lovely city to walk around, full of art, interesting museums, plazas, buildings, parks and shops that allow a perfect combination for teaching, visiting and relaxation. Some social activities are also planned to promote interaction and networking between the lecturers and attendees.

I very much look forward to welcoming you to Madrid next November for this course!
