Certification Committee
The role of the Certification committee is to evaluate the candidates wanting to enter the last step, the oral examination of the European Examination in Neuroradiology, and to ensure their eligibility. Approval by the committee can earliest be sought when training is completed, all four ECNR courses have been attended and the written examinations associated with ECNR have been passed.
The Certification committee is also involved in certifying established neuroradiologists wishing to obtain the European Qualification in Neuroradiology. This is program valid for a limited period only. The documents relating to this committee are found below! Certification
1. The Certification committee (CC) has to ensure that a candidate fulfils all requirements before participating in the oral examination. The decision of CC, if a candidate is accepted for examination, is based on a complete application form.
2. The requirements to take part in the oral examination for European Certificate in Neuroradiology are:
2.1 Those who take the examination agree that they are bound by the Committee's rulings regarding credentials and examination scores.
2.2 The minimum requirements for admission to examination is having a license to practice medicine as well as a 2 years specialist training in clinical neuroradiology after their medical training.
2.3 All candidates wishing to sit the oral examination must have completed all four courses of the ECNR and passed the written examinations associated with this course.
2.4 The candidate must have sufficient ability in the English language to communicate with patients, foreign colleagues, to study international literature and to master the examination.
2.5 A non-European candidate is welcome to sit the examination, provided he/she has completed five years of certified training in neuroradiology in a non-European country, passed the ECNR written examination, and that this training is deemed equivalent by the Certification committee.
2.6 The fee for examination, to be paid in advance, is set by the examination committee.
