Certification for established neuroradiologists
Neuroradiologists wishing to obtain the European Qualification in Neuroradiology (EQNR) will have to pass the European Examination in Neuroradiology organized by the European Board of Neuroradiology (EBNR). The requirements for training and examination are described in the regulations of the EBNR.

A senior neuroradiologist, having clinical and academic experience in neuroradiology for many years, will, for a limited time only, have a possibility to obtain EQNR under provisional regulations should he or she fulfil the following requirements:

1. He/she is presently employed as a full time neuroradiologist and has been working as such during at least 10 years. These facts have to be certified by two administrative officers of the hospital in which the applicant is accredited. (Obligatory requirement for all successful applicants)

2. He/she has more than 5 years experience as working in an academic position or otherwise leading position (professor, associate professor, docent or equivalent).

3. His/her scientific activities must be documented by at least 10 publications in recognized scientific journals.

4. He/she has more than 10 years experience in teaching.

" Neuroradiologists fulfilling at least three of the four credentials may obtain the certification of EQNR upon request after registration, evaluation and acceptance by the Certification Committee of the EBNR.
" The time period during which these provisional regulations apply is limited to two years from the date of publication of these regulations.
" Successful applicant has to be a full member of the ESNR.
" The fee for the certification procedure is 200 €.
" Applications are being made to the Certification Committee of EBNR.
